With nowhere to go, his friend Julie Lacroix (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) invites him to the beach houses in southern California, where he meets Joel Marlowe (Garrett Hedlund). After an evening of binge drinking, the two (seemingly straight) men wake up in the same bed and soon realize the events that unfolded the night before.
